Scientific staff of the Research Institute of Plant Quarantine and protection in a seminar on “Introduction to phytosanitary, terminology”!

The National Institute of Plant Health Management – NIPHM (National Institute of Plant Health Management-NIPHM), India hosted a preliminary seminar on “Phytosanitary access and terminology” for visiting delegation members from Uzbekistan. 
This important event was aimed at a deep understanding of the terminological foundations of phytosanitary control in R & D and agriculture. 

The main purpose of the workshop: to study terminology based on international standards in the analysis of Phytosanitary risk and in the process of pest control. During the Seminar, important knowledge was given on international phytosanitary practices, environmental safety and methods used in the fight against agricultural pests. 

 Acquaintance with laboratories: after the seminar, the scientific staff became closely acquainted with the activities of the first Laboratories. These laboratories use modern technologies to determine the biological characteristics of pests
