Within the framework of the "ASK Facility" program, a specialist with experience in working with pesticides visited the Research Institute of Plant Quarantine and Protection.

Mark Davis, a specialist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of agriculture, got acquainted with the activities of the Research Institute and the research being conducted. In a conversation with scientists, they exchanged views on information on the import, storage and use of pesticides into the territory of the republic.
It should be noted that in recent years, Mark Davis has been conducting research on improving and introducing new methods and technologies for working with pesticides. As part of his visit to our country, experts will also share their experience in this area.
Another issue in the focus of attention of experts was the safe work with pesticides and the procedure for their disposal. This is because these types of plant protection products have a chemical basis, and special requirements and standards must be followed when using, storing and disposing of them.

For your information, the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Quarantine and Protection has 12 laboratories, almost all of which study the effects of pesticides depending on the type of plant.
